## What OutfitScore does

OutfitScore analyzes outfit photos with Google Gemini AI and returns a numerical score from 0 to 100 across six dimensions: color harmony, fit and proportion, occasion appropriateness, style coherence, trend relevance, and accessories integration. Users can score complete outfits, individual clothing pieces, makeup looks, and accessories separately. The platform also provides iterative "Fix My Fit" outfit coaching, "Fix My Makeup" beauty coaching, an AI outfit roast mode, a Color Season Analyzer, a Body Type Calculator, and a weekly community leaderboard.

## Technology

OutfitScore uses Google Gemini (gemini-3.1-flash-lite primary, gemini-2.0-flash-lite fallback) for image analysis, FastAPI (Python) for the backend, PostgreSQL and Redis for data, and Cloudinary for image processing. Scores are generated in roughly 5–10 seconds per analysis.
