What photo works best for body type analysis?

A full-body or waist-up photo in fitted clothing gives the most accurate result. Front-facing is ideal. Avoid baggy clothing, heavy coats, or extreme camera angles.

Does body type change with weight?

Your fundamental proportions (ratio of shoulder width to hip width) tend to remain consistent. However, significant body composition changes can shift you between adjacent types.

Is body type analysis the same for men?

The same five body shapes apply to all genders. The styling recommendations, however, differ — men with a pear shape would be guided toward different clothing than women with the same proportions.
